Metadata

This returns basic info (Subject, Owner, Creation Time).

No Participants

This endpoint does NOT return the full participant list. Use '/groups/{id}/participants' for that.

Best practices

Cache this metadata; it rarely changes.
Use this to validate if a Group JID is still valid/accessible.
Check the 'announce' property to see if only admins can send messages.
